About the Yojana

Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana will help all the underprivileged students gain knowledge. This scholarship will open up future doors so they can focus on getting an education in different fields and colleges in India. All the students studying in class 6th and continuing till post graduation level will benefit from it. They must belong to the state of Odisha. Students of every caste and creed from the economically backward society can apply for the Yojana scheme. Through this initiative, the students can complete their studies at prestigious universities. Furthermore, this will give a kick start to their career and help them with the options for tuition fees.

Benefits of the Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana Scholarship 2024

As per the benefits, the selected students will receive the financial assistance as given below:

Both male and female students for 8th Standard	Rs 2000
For Standard 9th (both male and female students)	Rs 3000
For Standard 10th (both male and female students)	Rs 4000
Cash prize for all the students scoring 90% and above in class 10th	Rs  10000

For Class 11th and 12th	Rs 5000
For students studying in B.Com, B.Sc, and B.A and other post-graduate courses	Rs 7000
Medical (includes allopathic, ayurvedic, and homoeopathic), BCA, MBA, B.Arch, M.Arch, M.Tech, B.Pharma, B.Tech, MSc, Catering and hotel management studies (government colleges only)	Rs 40000
CT/B.Ed/Nursing training in Government Colleges	Rs 10000

Note: All female children will get an additional 20% benefits over regular educational assistance.

Eligibility Criteria for applying to the Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana Scholarship 2024

Here are the eligibility criteria for applying to this yojana:

1. The student must be from a recognized government college and school.
2. They must be studying in Standard 6th and above.
3. Students from all categories can apply for this scheme.
4. Candidates must have an attendance of 50% and above.
5. Applicant must be a ward of the construction or building worker.
6. The student must be an Indian citizen.
7. They must have a domicile in Odisha State.
8. Candidate must have passed the previous examination.

Note:

• Only Two students from the same family can take advantage of this scheme.
• For classes six and 7th, the scheme applies only to female students. Otherwise, from class 8th onwards, any candidate can apply for it.
• If both parents are beneficiaries, then the expenses will not be extended to both parents separately.
• The board extends financial aid to students who have completed at least one year as registered beneficiaries.
• The scholarship amount will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary.

Documents Required:

Once you have reviewed the eligibility criteria, here is a list of documents necessary to complete the online application form.

1. Domicile certificate of the Applicant.
2. Government ID proof, such as the Aadhar Card of the parent’s bank account registered with the Odisha building and other construction worker’s welfare OB and OCWW board.
3. College and school ID card of the candidate.
4. Marksheet or academic report card of the Applicant.
5. Building and other Construction (BOC) of the parent.
6. The parent’s bank account details, such as the passbook, show the bank branch’s IFSC code and account number.
7. Photo ID proof, such as the Candidate’s Aadhar Card.

Procedure to Apply for the Nirman Shramik Kalyan Yojana Scholarship 2024

All the eligible candidates need to apply for the scheme by clicking here. Once done, follow the below-given steps:

• Press the ‘Apply Now’ button displayed on the screen.
• Click on the Registration Button.
• Fill in the required details. (please note that if not registered, log in using your registered email ID and password)
• Once registered, scroll through the Registration link and tick the given check box.
• After that, click on the ‘I Agree’ button.
• Read the instructions mindfully and fill in all the details the page prompts.
• After successfully registering on the page, log in to your account using valid credentials.
• Give all the necessary information, including personal details, academic information, eligibility certificates, photographs, and bank account information.
• Click on the Save button.
• After completing the last page, click the next button and proceed with the scholarship form.
• Go through all the relevant documents and click on Submit option on the application form.
