Bhumi Fellowship Scheme is a full-time, paid, two-year fellowship program. It is a non-profit organization—one of India’s leading youth volunteering organizations. The primary mission to start this fellowship is to develop future leaders of our nation in education. Under this program, all the students will have an excellent opportunity to work with stakeholders. That, too, is in a whole school ecosystem. This will include all the school leaders, parents, teachers and students.

The benefit of the Bhumi Fellowship Scheme 2024
Under this fellowship opportunity, all the selected students will be eligible to receive a monthly scholarship of Rs 25,500 for a time interval of two years. Additionally, the funds sent will cover all the monthly allowances. It covers everything, including mobile data packages, laptops, housing rent, and reimbursements. The benefit isn’t limited to completing the two years of the scholarship. The students will receive a seed grant, which will be worth Rs ₹1,00,000.
Eligibility Criteria for Applying to this Program
Unlike every scholarship there are specific eligibility criteria that the students need to follow before applying to it. The complete list is given below. Make sure to read it carefully to avoid the candidate’s being not selected.
- The Applicant must possess a degree in English Literature, Sociology, Psychology, B.ED, Social Work, Law or B.Tech.
- They should be ready to commit to a time duration of 2 years.
- Candidate should be aligned with EdTech, teaching and the System Transformation field.
- Applicant must be based in Chennai.
- Students must have prior experience in managing teams, organizing events, leading clubs, and simultaneously being involved in any of the student clubs involvement.
- A student’s age should be somewhere between 20-30 years of age.

What are the Selection Criteria for the Eligible Applicants?
Once the Applications are shortlisted by the hiring management. The students will have to go through a telephone interview round. On the basis of the telephonic interview round the final selection will be determined by the hiring panel.
