His vision is to commit himself intensely to the social cause of people. Mr Sekhasaria completed his graduation from the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT). He took Gujrat’s Ambuja cement company to great heights, and it has become one of the most valuable cement companies today.

Moreover, in 2002, Mr Narotam Sekhsaria laid the foundation of the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation. This foundation was built to address people’s basic necessities regarding education, health, and employment challenges. All these changes were brought about by implementing his initiatives and coordinating and collaborating with different organizations.

Benefits of the Scheme

Under the Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation’s Post Graduate Scheme, all merit-based students can obtain scholarships to pursue higher education. This foundation scheme aims to provide significant financial help to students belonging to economically backward sections. All outstanding intellectual students studying at the prestigious universities of India and abroad are eligible to apply for this Scheme. Alternatively, all the selected students will get an interest-free loan and a free mentorship. All this will help them towards their journey to pursue their academic endeavours. The best aspect of this interest-free scholarship loan is that students can pay it with easy instalments. Furthermore, the repayment will commence only after the candidate completes a year after the course is over.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for Narotam Sekhsaria Post Graduate Scheme

The candidates, if interested, should follow some eligibility criteria. These criteria are crucial for the selection of the candidate. Make sure to read them carefully.

1. Candidate must be a permanent resident of India.
2. Students should plan to pursue a postgraduate degree from a top university.
3. Admission to the university or college should commence in the year 2024.
4. Students of Indian or abroad universities are considered.
5. Applicant should not be above 30 years of age as of January.31.2024.
6. The student must hold a degree from renowned or accredited and affiliated colleges or universities.

Important Notification:

• Students waiting for their results or final-year students can apply for this scholarship.
• Those students who have applied to universities abroad can apply.
• Candidates will only get scholarship rewards on securing a seat or admission to the universities applied to them.

Documents Required:

Here is a list of documents required to apply for the scholarship. The applicant is required to bring the documents if they are selected for the interview round.

• Attested copies of the scorecard from the GRE, CAT, GMAT, GATE or any other qualifying examination.
• A reference letter.
• Acceptance letter that includes the overall fee structure.
• A copy of a valid original passport (if available).
• A disability certificate( in case the candidate is a specially-abled child)
• Attested copies of the mark sheet as per the following year:
• Post Graduate and Undergraduate, along with 12th and 10th marksheets. (All year) for postgraduate (only if available or applicable).
• Latest copy of Income Tax Return of the Guardian or parent.
• Documents of funds received from any awards, fee waiver, or other scholarship scheme.

Note: The foundation or company sponsoring the program has all the authority to request additional documents to verify information. In case the documents are found insufficient.

Procedure to Apply for Narotam Sekhsaria Post Graduate Scheme

1. Navigate through the Apply Now button at the bottom of the Buddy4Study page.
2. Then click the Register Now button and fill in all the necessary details.
3. If you are not registered, click the sign-up option and press the ‘Need an account’ option.
4. Sign in using your mobile number or Gmail ID and password.
5. Once you are done signing up, log in again with the ID and password that you generated during the registration process.
6. Update the details in the Application form.
7. Complete the Application form parts 1,2 and 3, respectively.
8. Recheck the form and then submit it accordingly.

Note:

• Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 500 while applying for the scholarship scheme.
• Once you have successfully applied to the scholarship scheme, an automatic confirmation will be sent to the registered email address.
