What is the D. K. Bhave Scholarship Program?

D. K. Bhave Scholarship Program is a remarkable initiative started by Savitribai Phule Pune University. This scholarship is specially designed for technology and engineering graduates. These graduates must have secured a confirmed seat for a master’s Degree. Admissions can be from any foreign accredited university in Germany, the USA, England, or Canada. This scholarship intends to supplement but not replace a student’s finding system.

Benefits of this Scholarship Scheme

All the selected candidates will receive a maximum of around 50% of the estimated first-year cost for the enrolled master’s course. Simultaneously, they can pay their tuition fees, incidence expenses, and room and board as determined by the university. Additionally, any financial assistance awarded by the concerned university will be granted. This scholarship scheme does not cover additional expenses like GRE fees, travel tickets, Visas, and application fees. Furthermore, the funds will be transferred to the candidate’s chosen university.

Eligibility Critera for the D. K. Bhave Scholarship Program

All eligible candidates must strictly adhere to eligibility criteria. It is as follows:

The candidate must have a minimum academic record of a B grade or higher.
Students must have a confirmed seat for studying the master’s degree program in the engineering or technology field.
The candidate should take admission to an accredited university in Germany, England, the USA, and Canada.
Applicant must be a graduate of the Engineering faculty at the Savitribai Phule Pune University.
They can also be final-year students pursuing their B.E. or B—tech degrees.
Students from any branch within an NBA-accredited institute’s PMC or PCMC study area are eligible.
Applicants enrolled in engineering courses abroad are ineligible.

Copy of a confirmed letter from the concerned foreign Institute or university.
Final year mark sheet of the candidates of B.Tech and B.E courses.
1 or 2 pages of written application of statement of purpose duly signed by the applicant.
The principal or director of the college issued the original recommendation letter.
Parents and candidates’ Aadhar and PAN card copies.
All research papers along with achievements of the candidates during their B.Tech and B.E program courses.
This can include the certification of participation or all other competitions that the student won.
Permanent address proof such as telephone bills and electricity bills.
Two pages of the duly filled application form.

Important Notice to consider

Here are some essential rules and regulations to follow before filling out the form:

If students fail to upload a single file properly, their application will be rejected.
Candidates must send the academic reports along with official transcripts to Savitribai Phule Pune University.
Applicants are expected to return to India after completing their two-year master’s Degree.
If in case the students don’t return to India after completing the course duration, they will have to repay the scholarship amount to the Institute.
This amount will be free of interest.
Other students who return to India and work in their respective fields for five long years need not pay the granted scholarship amount.

Selection of the Candidate

The Savitribai Phule Pune University will make the final selection regarding the scholarship return. Suppose the university asks the Students who returned to India after completing the course. In that case, they will need to submit documents regarding the nature of work, certification from an Indian company, Duration of the passport or employment, etc. The necessary format This will check the integrity and compliance of the scholarship terms and conditions. After the start screening, all the selected students must bring hard copies of the application materials to the final interview.
