What is the Vocational Training Fee Reimbursement for SC Students?

Vocational Training Fee Reimbursement for SC Students is an initiative started by the Maharashtra Government under the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department. This Scheme is for all the Students belonging to the SC category. They must have taken admission under the Private ITIs or the PPP scheme in Government ITIs through the Centralized Admission Process.

Benefits of this Program

This Scholarship reimbursement scheme as it prioritizes education over everything. The benefit it provides is that all the selected students will receive a 100% reimbursement on the course fees, provided the course must be ongoing. Also, the benefit of this Scheme applies to two children of the same family. Simultaneously, the 100% reimbursement structure is as follows:

  • Students who are SSC pass and whose family income is less than or equal to INR 2.5 lakh will receive a complete 100% reimbursement as the Government of India scholarship Scheme.
  • SSC pass students with family income above INR 2.5 lakh- less than or up to INR 8 lakh will get the full reimbursement of school fees.
  • SSC fail and family income up to INR 8 lakhs will also get a 100% reimbursement.

Eligibility Criteria for applying to the Vocational Training Fee Reimbursement for SC Students

Here are the eligibility guidelines to follow while applying to this vocal training reimbursement program.

  • The student must be a resident of India.
  • They should possess a domicile in the Maharashtra State.
  • Candidates must belong to the SC category with their caste certificates.
  • Students must have been admitted under the PPP Scheme of the IT government school or any private Government School.
  • The Candidate’s attendance is compulsory as per the scholarship guidelines.
  • Orphan candidates need to submit a letter of Recommendation.
  • Family income must fall under the benefit criteria that are mentioned above.
  • Applicant must not have taken any benefit earlier from Government or Private ITI.
  • Students admitted for the MSCVT, New Delhi, or DGT-approved courses are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidate must not have taken any benefit from training programs sponsored by Local Body/ Central Government/ State/ Department and company or Corporation.
  • The students must attend all the seminars and annual exams. In case of any emergency, the Joint Regional Director of the Institute must be informed prior.

NOTE:

  1. Management quota students are not eligible for the Scheme.
  2.  Failure in the academic year, unsatisfactory social conduct, and not fulfilling any attendance criteria will not be eligible for this scholarship Scheme.
  3. There is no fee reimbursement for students who are admitted under the Management quota.

Documents Required for Applying to this Scheme

Here are a few crucial lists of documents as per the government regulations required while filling out the online application form. Kindly go through them one by one. Failing to adhere will lead to non-selection of the Applicants.

  • A government-issued ID such as an Aadhar Card.
  • Ration Card.
  • Domicile certificate of the Candidate.
  • Caste Certificate or Caste Validity of the Candidate.
  • Transfer certificate/ Original leaving certificate of the Student is Compulsory.
  • The competent government authority of India issues the family income certificate.
  • Previous year SSC/ HSC Marksheets.

Renewal Policy of the Scheme

If selected students want to renew the policy for the upcoming year, they must submit the following documents.

  • The Candidate must have attendance as per the guidelines stated by the DGT.
  • Students must pass to the upcoming academic year.
